Appraisals
Before each sale is completed we examine and carefully evaluate each item. We inspect each piece to make sure we deliver the quality that you are paying for. Upon your request at the time of the sale, we will furnish an insurance appraisal on the item purchased at no charge to you.
After Purchase Care
Feel free to bring in your jewelry, whether it was purchased here or not, so that we can clean and check it at no charge.
Consumer Confidence Guarantee
In regard to purchases involving a single stone or pair of diamond stud-type earrings.
Many of our loose diamonds come with a laboratory report. The GIA and AGS are our favorite labs regarding reports. Even if our stones come with a report, Valerie still checks them out to make sure everything is correct and legitimate.
Our staff graduate gemologist, Valerie Savvenas, has been a graduate gemologist since 1985 and is GIA trained. She personally grades each diamond that we sell in our store. She uses GIA color graded master stones and Gem Insturments Corporation equipment.
We will put on your receipt the quality of your gemstone making it a "condition of the sale" which further protects you legally.
Engraving
Engraving by machine is available on many jewelry items and may be done the same day if needed. Just ask.
Hand engraving will take longer and is available.
Gift Cards
Manoli's Jewelers Gift cards are available in any amount and make a great gift.
Gift Wrapping
We will gladly wrap your purchase free of charge and usually while you wait.
Lay-a-Ways
Lay-a-way is available with 25% down and then equal payments of 25% for the next three months. If the lay-a-way is cancelled then all monies will be applied to an in-store credit. There are no cash refunds on a lay-a-way purchase. This does not apply to special orders, custom designed orders, or items that have been altered or engraved.
Payment options
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express cards. We accept cash. We accept personal in-state checks with proper identification and verification of funds. We also offer financing through GE with approved credit.
Recycling
We encourage you to bring in any old out-of-date or worn/damaged jewelry and we'll personally help you design a new piece of jewelry that you'll be proud to wear. Recycling jewelry may save you money and is earth friendly. It is perfect for inherited items that have much sentimental value but simply are not fitting with your unique style.
Jewelry repair
Jewelry repair is done in-house by our expert jeweler. Manoli is a master goldsmith with extensive experience in jewelry repair. If occasionally we feel that an item needs to go to the manufacturer for work we will inform you of this before we send it out. Most common repairs will be ready within a week. If an in-house jewelry repair isn't ready when we say it will be then it is free.
Jewelry Cleaning
We will clean and inspect your jewelry at no charge while you wait. There is a small fee for polishing.
Restringing
We do provide pearl and bead restringing. This is done by a local person with 25 plus years of experience and we do send this out of the store to be done.
Watch repair
We can replace your battery or shorten your watch band in-house and often while you wait.
For other watch repairs we do send them to a local expert watch repair person who has a CW21 certification which means a certified wathchmaker for the 21st century which is strongly supported by the American Watchmaking Industry, especailly Rolex USA.
Returns
Regarding In-Store Purchases: Manoli's Jewelers will issue an in-store credit or exchange for the full amount of the purchase if item is returned within ten days with original receipt. Items must be in original condition. Watches must have boxes and paper work. Returns are not accepted for items that have been altered, sized, engraved, special ordered or custom designed.
If you wish to have a cash refund it must be written on the receipt by our store personnal and the item must be returned within 3 days. We will credit the credit card used at time of purchase or a check will be issued after enough time has passed to allow for processing of the check used at time of purchase by our bank. Above conditions also apply as to condition of item regarding acceptablility of a return.
Regarding on-line purchases: You will have ten days from receipt of your purchase to notify us of your intent to return an item. The item must be unworn, unaltered (either by sizing, engraving, stone setting ,etc.) Special ordered items or custom made items are not returnable. The item must be returned (fully insured for purchase price) to us within two business days after you give notice of your intent to return the item. You will pay for all return shipping and insurance charges.
Shipping
We ship via USPS express mail or priority mail to the continental USA.
Trade-Ins
Manoli's Jewelers does accept diamonds purchased from our store for trade-in. You will need your original receipt. Items in the following catagories are acceptable:
- Diamond stud earrings
- Diamond solitaire rings, pendants or bracelets
- Diamond three-stone rings and pendants
For items presented for exchange after the ten day return policy, we will allow a full trade-in value (less taxes and refurbishing fee) towards any item valued at 200% or more of the originals trade-in value.
Financing
We do offer financing through GE with approved credit. On purchases of $1000 or more we can offer twelve months same as cash. We can offer 90 days same as cash financing with GE on any purchase with approved credit. You will receive a credit card and line of credit that you may use again at our store. The application is quite simple and can be processed in a few minutes with an immediate response. GE is now offering a fixed 36 month payment plan on purchases of $2000 or more.
